The Bodensee Steuergeräte GmbH together with its sister company CRT Common Rail Technologies AG in Switzerland offer a new generation of Common Rail - Injection Systems for diesel engines in the power range from 10 to 10.000 kW.
The well tuned system is divided in the hydraulic parts:
- Injector
- High pressure pump
- Rail
- Pipes
and the electronic parts:
- Control unit for engine management
- High pressure sensor
- Crankshaft angle sensor
- PC based application program for operation, maintenance, service and diagnosis.
Features of the shown system:
- High pressure pump: suction throttled, rail pressure 1600 bar
- Injector: maximal 350 mm³/injection, Ø 17 mm, no static leakage, low control leakage, multiple separated main injection, separated pre- and postinjection
Injectors of the newest technology are more protected against fuel impurity than conventional injector technologies in the automotive section. Because there is no static leakage and only a very low control leakage the system has an excellent hydraulic efficiency which improves the specific fuel consumption of the engine.
The injection system is produced, calibrated and checked with the most modern equipment. It is used on high speed and mid speed engines in marine-, rail traction-, offroad-vehicle- and gen-set applications. Accordingly the specific requirements of the applications are considered.
